Operations Manager. Reporting to the GM. Permanent Role in Offaly. Work for this iconic food brand leading up multi functions on the site. You will oversee the entire production process and smooth running of the company's operational needs. Are you looking for a role that is just more than production and a role that will put your career on track? Key Duties: Direct and manage the supervisors and operators of the departments. Oversee all operating processes to ensure that the most efficient and effective use is made of plant equipment and that health and safety standards are adhered to. Ensure customer orders are prepared within appropriate timescales and are ready for collection. Prepare and monitor budgets. Monitor output to ensure that production meets the established customer quality standards. Maintain regular contact with other departments to ensure that they are aware of production requirements and to identify potential problems. Provide advice and support to other departments on production issues. Manage maintenance on site and ensure downtime is kept to a minimum. Play an important role in all site audits/visit and help ensure that all non-conformances are closed out. Strive to maintain the highest product process standards and ensure all products are produced to the highest standard. Maintain an awareness of new developments in production processes and propose modifications to plant and equipment. Help co-ordinate the warehousing and distribution functions to ensure that the customer orders are completed at all times. Act as the main advisor on all issues in relation to production matters and operational functions. You will be responsible for administrative functions within the business. Do you meet the criteria of this role? 3 years experience minimum ideally within a food manufacturing environment. Excellent attention to detail, the ability to multitask and prioritise.
