You will work as a Manufacturing Engineering Manager for our client, a well-established manufacturing company in Westmeath . As the Manufacturing Engineering Manager , you will oversee the development and implementation of manufacturing processes to maintain proper product functionality and ensure the engineering team and other manufacturing departments work together. This is a permanent job. Your new job. Key duties & responsibilities: Inspect various product structures and processes to eliminate inefficiencies and reducing manufacturing costs. Perform Design of Experiment (DOE) analysis to determine optimum operating parameters. Support Manufacturing in the resolution of issues and provide them with tools and engineering support to implement new products into production. Establish resource requirements and material flow using industrial engineering techniques. Leading process design functions to determine product flow through the manufacturing cell by use of engineering techniques and continuous improvement. You will manage and lead a team of Engineer’s. Identify areas and means to improve manufacturing processes and equipment and product quality on existing product and processes. What are we looking for? 3rdlevel qualification in Manufacturing/Engineering/Science or similar discipline. At least 5-8 years’ experience within a manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of LEAN and 6 sigma manufacturing principles. Experience with continuous improvement of processes and validations of processes/equipment. cGMP experience. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage deadlines and work well under pressure. Experience in a similar role is an advantage.
