Our client is a large manufacturing company looking to recruit a super start Production Planner based in Offaly. Working in conjunction with our senior planner you are responsible for planning factory output (production) ensuring 100% product availability. Maintaining stock balances within stock policy. You will possess or develop the ability to procure materials to be consumed in the production process. *Hours are 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM - 5 over 7 this is not a Monday to Friday role Flexibility and Weekend work is required* The Role: Production planning across numerous production lines that run 24/7. Continuous monitoring of plan attainment and amending plans where needed. Ownership of the MRP process that drives replenishment planning of factory materials. Weekly KPI reporting. CSL – Customer service level reporting. Stock variance to policy – with the trend. Stock adjustment summary. Future supply issues and previous supplier service levels. Liaising with NPD/Technical/Marketing in relation to the introduction of new SKU’s to our business. Timely procurement of raw material and packaging suppliers. Contribute to the development of short, medium and long-term business plans. Data Admin and communication. Vendor/Supplier/Materials set-up, pricing adjustments, BOM change communication. Adhere to, and promote quality service with both internal and external customers. Essentials: A minimum of 2 years’ similar experience in an FMCG role – preferably food. Significant SAP experience. Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications and particularly strong in Excel. Supplier Management experience. Ability to communicate clearly with all levels of the business. The capability to resolve relatively complex problems autonomously. Examples of performing in a high-pressure environment. A 3rd Level qualification.
