A Senior JAVA Developer is required by CareerWise Recruitment for our Offaly based client. Work as a senior member of the R&D team, inclusive of coaching junior team members, and develop applications, or application elements in Java 7 or 8 (SE or EE exposure acceptable). THE ROLE: * Work in an Agile environment, utilising test-driven development practices. * Work alone, in a small team, in distributed teams and - at times - offshore. * Rapidly design and implement complex solutions. * Adopt a Continuous Improvement mindset. * Capability to change work approach to suit varying customer needs. REQUIREMENTS: * Level 8 Degree required. * Exposure to the following Technologies during the Development Lifecycle: - Solid Java skillset EE or SE 7. - Spring. - MySQL. - ActiveMQ. - Apache Web Server. - PostgreSQL (specifically PostGIS. - Linux. - PHP, JQuery, Symfony. * Exposure to "Big Data" or "Predictive Analytics" project work a bonus.
