Our client is a large manufacturing company looking to recruit a super start Buyer/Planner based in Offaly. Bening responsible for forecasting and replenishment of all sku’s to be consumed in the factory from raw materials to labels etc. ensuring 100% availability whilst keeping balances within stock policy. You will develop the ability to plan production and replenish BIFG (bought in finished goods) and cover these tasks as required. The Role: Replenishment of all raw materials into the warehouse while maintaining 100% availability to the factory at all times, whilst keeping balances in line with an agreed stock policy that you will help develop. Ownership of the MRP process that drives replenishment planning. Communicating with the warehouse team to ensure delieveries in a timely manner. Manage relationship with relevant suppliers. Reviewing physical inventory adjustments with stock control colleague’s. Point of contact & day to day management of 3rd party haulage providers. Weekly KPI reporting. Introduction of new SKU’s to our business while leasing with other depatments. Contribute to the development short, medium and long term business plans. Ensuring the senior management are aware of any issues which arise which could impact the supply chain or service levels. Rolling 3-6 month view of requirements. Raising of Non Stock PO’s for day to day business services. Essentials: A minimum of 2 years’ similar experience in an FMCG role – preferably food. Significant SAP experience. Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications and particularly strong in Excel. Supplier Management experience. Ability to communicate clearly with all levels of the business. The capability to resolve relatively complex problems autonomously. Examples of performing in a high pressure environment. A 3rd Level qualification. Supply Chain or similar discipline is particularly desirable.
